2 Days Old
This is our little Angel, Madi. In this picture we are still in the hospital. She was just so precious we had to take a picture!
Chillin in my swing!
Madi LOVES her swing! She will fuss when we hold her and the only way to console her is to put her in her swing. Do that and she is happy as a clam. Here she is just chilling in her way cute outfit that her Uncle Kevin gave her as a welcome to the world gift! Doesn't she look cute?!
I don't want to sleep Mom!!!
Aside from her swing, Madi loves to be in Mom and Dad's bed. I was trying to get her to take a nap but she wasn't having it!
....But Oxygen is good for you.
Not long after Madi was born we noticed that she would gasp for air when she slept. We asked her Doctor about it and at first he checked her throat and didn't find anything, so he told us that all babies do that and not to worry. The problem was, she never stopped and I couldn't stop worrying. At her next appointment I again asked him about it and he said that as a precaution we would have her hooked up to a monitor for a couple of days and test her to see where her levels were. He said that the alarm might go off but not to worry. Well the alarm NEVER quit! Now we have an appointment with a specialist on October 1st. Wish us luck that everything is ok and that she will be better soon!

Oh how I love this boy! What a wonderful husband! Words can't express how happy I am to have him in my life! He is such a wonderful husband, father and friend! Happy Anniversary!

Baby gets no love
I think we pretty much smothered Madi. We were getting ready to leave for our dinner for our anniversary and we didn't want to leave her behind. We had to keep stealing kisses before we could even get out the door!

Madi has loved her Daddy from DAY 1! She recognized his voice in the delivery room and quit crying when he started to talk to her. Talk about a tear jerker!!!
First day home from the hospital
We were incredibly exhausted but we made it home from the hospital safe and sound. Daddy and Madi were sharing a tender moment!

She loved to be in the water but screamed bloody murder when we took her out! Isn't she adorable!

Wake Up Lazy Bones!
One thing that Madi shares with her Daddy is their love of SLEEP! Madi had snuggled up with her Daddy one morning and I just couldn't resist the photo op!
Itty-Bitty Jaderbugs
Jade is my project. She was started with a reining trainer and she has such amazing ability. She is such a fun horse to ride. I am so excited to start taking her on trail rides this summer and really get her broke to everything. What a fun horse!
Dancer-Schmagoo
Dancer has been with us for ever it seems like! She is 14 years old this year and we have had her since she was about a year and a half old. She has been the funnest project for me. She is the first and only horse that I have started from scratch. She has actually turned into a half decent horse! We love her and have had some wonderful foals outta her! She has been such an asset to our little farm.
we miss Roxie!
Sadly we have sold Roxie. She was an amazing athlete and we can't wait to follow her progress in the show pen. Good Luck Roxie!
Meet Georgie-Boy!
When Bryon & I decided to get married the first order of business was to buy Bryon a horse. Luckily a great friend of mine named Amy had (Spirit) and needed to find him a good home. We decided that we had to have him. We immediately bought him and we have loved every minute of owning him! Bryon is pretty excited about his new trusty steed as well! (Bryon did need a more manly name for his horse so he has since been re-named George...)
Georgie was SO sick!
Not long after we bought George he got really sick. We were really worried about him and didn't know what we were going to do. After about a week with the vet it was discovered that he had very severe ulcers (apparently his cushy life was just too much to handle!) When he came home he had an IV line sewn into his neck and we had to give him lots of meds! He laid in his stall all day and it was so sad to watch! But he pulled through like a champ and he is back to rockin and rollin! We love this guy!
Sageatious!
This is Sage. She is the best dog ever! She was born May 1, 1998. Even though she is old in years she is young at heart! Her favorite things are taking drives in the truck and running along on 4-wheeler rides. She has just been demoted to my neice Ashleys camp chair as Ashley will bounce on her every chance she gets. Sage is so great, she just lets her do it! Dogs like this don't come along every day!
Talonator!
This is Talon. He was born November 1999. He is old but he is spry! He has figured out how to jump our 6' fence to escape to go to the neighbors house. The little turkey now has to sleep under our back stairs to keep him content. Talon is really a great dog with a lot of personality that you can't help but just love!
Buddy Boy
This is Buddy. Bryon bought buddy when we started dating. He was looking for a dog and I found him on the internet. Bryon just had to have him! He was such a cute puppy. It took some adjusting to get used to being at our house. When he was about 6 months old he was trampled by one of our horses. We had to take him to the vet to get all fixed up. Buddy hasn't quite learned his lesson yet though. He is always having close calls. I guess we'll just wait for his next emergency. In the mean time he has become an excellent bird dog and Bryon LOVES to take him duck hunting!

This is Molly, the Aussie. She can be quite a pest but she is so loving! She loves her ducks so much! This is Molly playing with Dewy the duck (RIP). Molly's favorite thing to do was pester Dewy until he would fight/play with her.
Sparky Park
This is Sparky. He started out as a barn cat but has since turned into one of the dogs! Sparky was born in a storage box at the feed store, Saddle Up. When he and his litter mates were old enough to leave mom he didn't know how to walk. Because he was raised in a box he never had to walk. I took him home and kept him in a crate in the barn and I had to bottle feed him milk. It just so happened that at the same time, Molly was going through a false pregnancy and had milk but no babies. She felt that it was her duty to raise Sparky. She took him in an nursed him and cared for him. To this day they still love each other and Sparky eats and sleeps with the dogs. Now if he could just figure out that he is a cat and start eating the mice in the hay we would be in business!
Stormy the half faced wonder!
This is Stormy. I have had her since I was about 13 years old. In that time she has been through the ringer! She has been started in an engine, smashed in who knows how many car doors, house doors and garage doors, and she has been hit by a car - 3 times. The last time she was hit some pretty severe damage was done to her face. She only has use of one side of it. It is kind of creepy to see her sleep with one eye open! We still love her though! She is quite a little trooper!
