SHE'S FINALLY HERE!!!

This is the 3D ultrasound of Madi taken 7/26/07 to see how big she was going to be. This was the deciding factor as to whether or not to do a C-Section. Lucky for me she was just big enough to get the ball rollin'!

It has been a while since I have posted on here and quite a bit has happened!!! Madi was expected to arrive on July 28th, but she just wasn't ready! The doctor said that after 3 weeks of nothing happening that we better just do a C-Section. So we scheduled it for the soonest possible day which was August 2nd. On August 1st, I got a phone call bright and early in the morning from my Dr. and he let me know that there was an opening that day at noon and if we were ready to just head in there at around 11:00. So as we were driving there, we received another phone call stating that they had several women come in in labor and they now didn't have a bed but that they would still try to get us in later than day. So we turned around very disappointed and headed home. At around 2:00 that afternoon, they called us back and appologized but they weren't going to be able to get us in at all that day but to still plan on our original appointment on the 2nd. We then got a phone call again that they had since double booked the operating room on Thursday and that we would be first to go on Friday. So at last, Friday morning, bright and early, we drove to the hospital and all went as planned and little Madi came into the world at 9:32 am on August 3rd, 2007. She was absolutely beautiful from the minute she arrived! She has been such a good baby and has been so happy and pleasant to be around. We just love her! She was a whopping 8 pounds 10 ounces when she was born but has since dropped some weight as usual and is down around 8 pounds even now. She loves her Daddy and he just adores her! He had his first day back to work today and I have never seen him so sad to leave.... It almost made me cry! Anyway, we will try to update more and add more pics as we get them. Have a great night!
