Two years ago today

an angel was born. I can still remember it like it was yesterday! The nervous anticipation for the surgery, waiting in the big hospital room, my un-nerving fear of needles and the pain inflicted by said needle, the fear of becoming a Mom and knowing that I was in WaY over my head, my poor body not handling the anethesia well, the nurses begging me not to puke, my anger at the Dr. for talking with the nurses about the final Harry Potter book that I hadn't read yet and hearing Madi cry for the first time and wanting nothing more that to hold her. Madi has been such an amazing child! I hear stories about other peoples children having so many problems with stomach issues, illnesses, colic, not sleeping, etc. I can honestly say we haven't had any real problems like that at all. She has been a blessing from day one! I don't know what we did to get a child like her, but we must have done something right! Not a day goes by I am not grateful to have her in my life. She brings so much joy day in and day out. I love you baby girl and I hope you have the best birthday ever!!
