Madi's first ride....

Check out my little Cowgirl! If she isn't the cutest thing you ever saw, I don't know what is! This picture was taken on Sunday January 20, 2008. Our horse Jade has been staying at the equestrian center with our friend Casey. Casey has been bringing Jade up to speed since her long lay off while I was pregnant. Casey was out of town this past weekend so Bryon and I went over to get Jade out to stretch her legs. Jade was being so good we decided it was time to get our little cowgirl on her horse. She was as happy as could be up there! Just as I had hoped she is following in her Mommy's foot steps and I am lovin' every minute of it!

I don't need no Stinkin' Oxygen!

Madi is now almost 5 1/2 months and her laringual tissues should be hardened up by now. Dr. Pfeffer sent out the Oxymeter (sp?) again for us to measure her oxygen levels during her sleep. We hooked her up to it on Saturday night as well as Sunday night. I kept anticipating the alarm to go off every couple of minutes as it had months ago when we first tested her. Much to our amazement, it didn't go off even once in those two nights! What a relief! It is looking like everything has worked out as it should and she is going to be able to send back her oxygen tank for once and for all! I am sure no one is happier about it than Madi however. Understandibly, She gets so upset everytime we have to put the tube in her nose. It breaks our heart every night to see her get so upset! We have our evaluation with Dr. Pfeffer next monday to go over the test results and get the final word on if we are clear to do away with the oxygen. We all are very optimistic that this appointment will go VERY well! We'll let you know how it goes!

In the mean time, get a load of those adorable toes!!!

They grow so fast.....

I can't believe how quickly they grow!! Madi is getting so big and independent! Santa brought Madi a VSmile interactive toy and she is starting to really like to push the buttons! It is too cute! Now she lays on her tummy and entertains herself for quite a while! She just looks so cute! I love this picture we got of her playing, she looks so involved in her game. Too stinkin' cute!
We have been introduced to the wonderful world of BabyLegs (thanks Megan). The other day we ordered Madi about 6 pairs of the full leg socks that she is wearing in about all of her pictures. We LOVE them!! Here she is modeling a pair!

Madi is always SO happy! Who doesn't love a great MUG shot!?!?!

Madi is getting so big and strong. She is developing quite the little ab muscles! She is starting to sit up on her own! Look how big she is getting! She is too cute!

Merry Christmas Continued....

I had to post these pictures and they wouldn't fit on the original post. Madi was adorable all day and just mesmerized when people would open their gifts. Attached are a couple of pics of her with her uncle Chad and Aunt Kristin. What a cutie!

Merry Christmas!

We had a great christmas this year. It was Madi's first Christmas and we couldn't wait for it to arrive! Although, we were kind of sad because we thought that at Madi's young age she wouldn't be able to appreciate Christmas and bring the joy that young kids bring with all of their excitement. Boy were we WRONG! Madi tore into those gifts like a seasoned pro! She was so excited and loved every single gift!
Madi got so many wonderful gift! It was great! She is definitely one spoiled little child! Grandma and Grandpa came down and spent Christmas morning with us and helped Madi open up some of her gifts. Madi enjoyed spending the time with them even though I don't think they were too excited about being up so early! Ü Along with many many toys and games madi got some really cute outfits! We will have to take a picture of her in all of them and post them! Here is one of her cute outfits. Isn't she adorable?!?!?! It was the best Christmas ever and it was all because of the wonderful presence of such an awesome child! We seriously couldn't have asked for a better baby. I know I say that a lot, but it is the truth!

Thanksgiving....

I just got these pictures of Madi from Thanksgiving and I wanted to post them. Better late than never, right? Again, these pictures were from Thanksgiving and she was SO adorable! Notice the baby bling, Madi got her ears pierced the weekend before and they were so cute! Daddy picked out this outfit and we are so glad he did. It looked so cute on her! We also bought her a new coat that is just a bit big but boy does it keep her warm. It is pink camo and it is awesome! I thought she looked so cute in that picture all bundled up ready to go see Grandma and Grandpa Davis. Get a load of those cheeks!!!!

Blessing Day!!

On December 2, 2007 Madi was blessed by her Grandpa Doyle. He did such a good job. We had so much family come and support us. It was great! All her aunts and uncles and cousins were there and Mommy's friends Kelly and Hayden Behling came and Daddy's friends Skyler and Cori came. She was so happy that everyone came. After the blessing we all went to Grandma & Grandpa Doyles house for a light lunch and so that we could visit with everyone. It was great! The picture is of Madi and her Uncle Kevin, whom she loves so much! Didn't she just look too cute in her dress!?!?! The other picture is of Madi in her Denim dress that she wore when we took off her blessing dress. Look at those cheeks!
