You can breathe easy...

Madi went and met with Dr. Pfeffer again to check on her progress with the oxygen treatments. Everything is going well and Dr. Pfeffer said that Madi looks just perfect! The bad thing is the tissue doesn't harden until she is 5-6 months old. So even though everything looks good, Madi will need to stay on the oxygen as a suppliment but on January 2nd we are going to take her off it and test her again for two nights. At which point the results will go straight to Dr. Pfeffer and she will make an assessment. She is confident that everything will be good and we can take her off of it all together. We can't wait!

Snug as a bug....

This is a picture of Madi from about a month ago. She was sleeping in her bassinet and when I woke up I peeked in at her and she had wiggled out of her blanket and all the way down to the foot of her bed. She was all scrunched in there. I just couldn't help but take a picture. She was very content to sleep all contorted like that. It looked very uncomfortable but too cute!

Hug, Hug, Kiss, Kiss

Madi LOVES her Daddy! She just couldn't resist kissing him and just went in for it! But when Daddy tried to reciprocate she was ticked off! It was a very cute photo op however! Madi loves to spend time with her dad even if he kisses her face too much!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!
This was Madi's very first Halloween! She was so excited as you can see. We started the day off by going trick-or-treating to JoDee's work (where we got these great pics of her) then we went to Mommy's work. Then we were off to Grandma and Grandpa Davis's. After all of that excitement we headed to the Brick Oven for the annual Doyle/Newbold Halloween dinner. As usual it was fabulous! All in all we had a great time on Halloween and we can't wait for next year when Madi can walk and really enjoy the whole aspect of trick-or-treating.
